It's been quite the rollercoaster with A LOT of up's and down's, surprises, disappointments, firsts and "never agains". Technically the new year begins April 1st, as that is in the season of Aries (the first sign of the Zodiac, and the leader; the head of the table). Doesn't make sense to say it's a new year in the middle of a season where everything is sound asleep. Beginnings aren't dead, they don't sleep.. a beginning is when things begin moving, when life awakes and starts functioning.. and that my friends, is spring.
So don't feel rushed to get your resolutions and goals finished or started by January, let them fester, see how they're doable and if it fits in with your life, test them out and see how you feel, cause you got til March to truly make a change and commit to it. Allow January - March be your testing ground for some experimentation on those goals, never commit to anything that doesn't feel natural to you. And if you like it, if it becomes an addition to your schedule instead of having to rearrange your entire life for that one thing, then commit to it in April and stay focused. Have mini goals that lead up to the big one, have little rewards along the way and enjoy the progress you're making. Personally I'm doing my best to try and get drawing into my schedule. I keep procrastinating because of how much I suck at it. Looking back, I'm blown away with the art skill I had in high school, I'm trying to get there but with every crappy drawing I make, I feel more inclined to quit than to continue, but I know I still have to keep at it. I know I'm gonna have to take my own advice when I say this, but just remember, whatever your goal or resolution is, don't be too hard on yourself. As the saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day", and no one is born knowing everything, so it takes patience, hard work, focus and trusting the process. I hope the eyes that are reading these words find themselves in a better position in life in 2024, may your path find you in great health, may you find riches (in whatever way that means to you) and may you never feel alone or unworthy, cause just the fact that the divine breath has been gifted to you, is proof enough that something out there found worth in you to create you and give you a purpose. So chin up, head high, shoulders back, and walk into 2024 like you own the damn place! ;) Much love, magic & respect! M.

How It Began...The year was 2013, it was night time and I had to turn off my computer as there was a thunderstorm outside, a common thing to do in European country sides where it's known for electronics to get fried during such weather. As it was still early for me to go to sleep, I sat on my bed with my sketchbook and started doodling and thinking of designs and statements that I'd like to make for my online shop, when suddenly lightning hit... literally. As the sky beamed with a flash of light and thunder was heard like a whip cracking across the sky, an idea flashed into my mind and I saw it as clear as day. I drew the skull (quite horribly) but it excited me as I felt a new path unfold for me. And if you're wondering what country flag first entered my mind when the idea came, it was Ireland. So I knew what I wanted the image to be, a skull that is dripping and a flag painted on its face... but what should I write above it? There were a few ideas I had but nothing felt right. I wanted it to make a statement that told the viewer that the person wearing their country skull wasn't just living in this country but that this culture ran deep down to their bones, and eventually with the help of my siblings and some brainstorming, we figured out that the best statement to make was "To The Core". And that my dear readers, is how the "To The Core Collection" was born. TransformationJust like anything though, the first version is never the best one. These skull have actually gone through three different versions, each one being better than the previous ones. I'm quite happy with the third (and current version, as of writing this article.. cause you never know with me and my perfectionist artist brain). Below you can see the difference between the first version and the third. What Do They Mean? It's always up to the viewer to define what art means to them, but of course we're talking about our current state of the world where everything is considered a problem, (which says more about the person than the actual thing in question). Skulls might mean death to some and life to others, the countries may be seen as nationalism or superiority but it's far from it. So what do they mean? These skulls are a celebration of ones own bloodline and difference, because however you choose to view it, if it weren't for your ancestors (problematic or not) you wouldn't exist. There's a culture, tradition and a state of mind within each nation. It's the land, the culture, the tradition.. there's a lot when it comes to someone's nationality, it's not just living somewhere, it's a lot more than that. Those who don't feel it will never know how deep it truly goes, that's why they believe that anyone can be from some other country, but they can't. So these skulls are a way to show pride in who you are, where you come from, who your ancestors were. By wearing these skulls you are acknowledging the struggles that your ancestors have gone through and no matter who they ended up being, it all led down to you and you have to be proud of that. These skulls are also a way to celebrate our differences and not having to give in and be the same as everyone else. They are a conversation starter as when wearing them, someone can always approach and ask questions about your nationality and learn more about a culture they may not have known about. They are a statement piece, a love letter to your family, a "fuck you" to the globalists that are trying to make us all the same, and a sense of pride in yourself.. cause this life ain't a walk in the park. Where Can I Get Them? You can purchase a variety of different products with these skulls, like apparel, notebooks, mugs, stickers and so much more, on my Society6 store. You can also tag @maiamystia on Instagram on photos featuring the products you purchased from my store, so that I can see what you got and can feature you. I always love to know what country my art reaches. Don't forget to signup for my newsletter in order to stay updated on future art, freebies, discounts and so much more! I don't spam, as I only send out the newsletter if I actually have a bunch of new stuff to inform you about, which can be a maximum of 2x a month (or less).
The following blog entry was originally written on my old site, but I decided to post it here as well because it's informative and teaches people to look beyond the fake wokeness and feel-good vibe, in order to see the truth on who these fake gurus and teachers are. I suggest you check out PART 1 of this blog entry, in order to know the background story behind it all. When I wrote Part 1 of this blog, at first I didn't even think about the reaction it could get. I only have about 170 followers on Instagram, so I'm not anyone huge that would get noticed or cause much of a ripple in Elizabeth's community. But what I found interesting is that not only did her followers come for me, but Elizabeth herself commented on my post despite my lack of reach or influence. So this told me one of 2 things: 1. She truly does lack spirituality because why else would it bother her that some nobody wrote something about her? I can't help but think that spiritual people would be comfortable and at peace with themselves that they wouldn't care what other people thought about them, but Elizabeth does. 2. She knows that what I wrote is right and doesn't want people knowing it. We'll see which one is right later, when we get to her comment. So when I woke up in the morning and started to see the "hate" I was getting from a community that claims to be "spiritual", I thought to myself "ugh, this again?" cause I'm not stranger to stirring up trouble and doing things to show other peoples true character, but then I had a brilliant idea. I'll wait one week, collect the hate they post and show the world how blind followers truly behave. Have we not been told by religious and spiritual texts that the "truth shall set you free"? or warned about wolves in sheep clothing? or that the end of life as we know it will produce so many false prophets who claim to be sent by God but are actually the Antichrist? We have so many examples of false prophets and fake spiritualists and yet so many wish not to see the truth because they're too ashamed of having been fooled, and this can easily be seen by some of the people that have commented. Their comments are mixed with passive aggressive statements which basically sound like "fuck you, and love and light sister". They throw in something positive so that the illusion of them being "spiritual" and full of "love" doesn't fall apart, but it does.. cause if they were spiritual they wouldn't be afraid to question things, they would be at peace with themselves and not go around throwing shade.. better yet, they would know that the egotistical girl they are following is just a fraud. When we think of spiritual people, we tend to think of Tibetan and Buddhist monks. We think of them meditating constantly, being loving and peaceful who have a strong will and sense of self. But one of the two have a documentary out, which I have watched many months ago, where they are constantly under investigation because some of the monks have an agenda and use their status to molest children, some traffic the kids and some are just so materialistic that they use their donations for expensive things. Crazy isn't it? This should show you that every single human on this planet can be flawed, no matter how spiritual they claim to be. The trick isn't to take someone elses word for who they are, but to see their actions and follow their writings and question every part of it, not with your heart but with a rational mind. People will always tell you who they are by claiming who they aren't, or telling you what they'll do to you by telling you what they won't ever do. How many times have you heard a partner or a friend say that they'll never hurt you or lie to you and yet they end up doing just that. Everyone can tell you sweet things but that doesn't mean they are sweet within, after all, the devil is a charmer. So here are the comments and my replies to the shitstorm I have received. The funny thing is how they make assumptions about me without even knowing me. But if we take a better look at those assumptions, they weren't telling me who I am, but rather who they are. As you can see, the first person that commented basically accused me of spreading negativity, fear and division because she didn't like what she was hearing about her leader. This is the reason why women can't always make the best decisions in life and tend to need a man for balance - they tend to make decisions based on feelings rather than rational thought. A man and a woman are a duality that complete each other. One brings emotion and the other intelligence (not saying that men are emotionless or women are stupid, but rather that each one is one end of a spectrum that teach each other and blend together). The second person that commented seems to have been in a panic. The mirror they adored staring at had started to crack with what they read in my blog and they started pacing because they couldn't see the reflection they loved so much. And let's face it, that's all that these leaders are to them.. by watching their content they believe they are like them just to feel closer and part of their sphere. And when someone comes along to shatter that reflection, they panic. So apparently these people aren't even aware that they live in America. I had to school them that Canada was in North AMERICA, as they think that "America" is only a country and not a region as well. I also had to school the one lady who thought that Elizabeth was helping humanity by having a Youtube channel. I plainly tell her (just like I wrote in part 1 of this blog) that if she truly was psychic and a mind reader, she could use those gifts to find the millions of missing people on our planet, she could use those gifts to find out who from a list of suspects is the real killer. She could do so much, but all she does is just make videos of her talking about shit that can be found from others or that she makes up herself. Notice how some of them feel like I'm the one making things up just because my comments and words feel "heavy" to them? That is because they refuse to swallow a truth that is too hard for them to face. Imagine looking up to someone for so long and then someone comes along and shows you what was hidden in plain sight? Wouldn't you feel too stupid to not have seen it? Would you not feel too ashamed and embarrassed to have followed them all this time? When most people are faced with a hard truth, they will rather attack the one speaking the truth and deny it, just to keep the illusion going because they don't wish to face themselves and the shame they feel. And also notice that they keep mentioning "free content". Another thing people do is take things out of context. In Part 1 of this blog, I have mentioned that Elizabeth offers membership (one of many ways she takes your money), but NEVER did I mention that she expects everyone to pay for her information or that she doesn't have free content. Never did I mention any of that, but because these people have nothing else to attack (because everything I wrote about Elizabeth comes straight from her website), they then have to take things out of context just to have something to say that would destroy my findings. Petty right? well that's what fake spiritualists and religious people do. The wise one makes me laugh. I don't know how a blind follower that doesn't question anything can be wise, but I guess anything is possible in 2020. So then we have Elizabeth herself commenting. I must be pretty huge with my 170 followers, when she felt that she had to step up and defend herself. Remember in the beginning of the blog when I said that she commented for one of two reasons? Well I think that both are true but the latter more so. She acknowledges the fact that everything I say is true, because she doesn't try to defend herself or say that everything I wrote was a lie. Nothing I said was made up but is plainly written on her website. So she tries to attack (quite the spiritual person eh?) by first stating that she never said she was "all-knowing". Maybe she never used those words, I agree.. BUT, if you're a mind reader AND a psychic (which is written on her website), would you not know everything about everyone? By being psychic you'd know their past and who they are, and by being a mind reader, you'd know their present and what they're thinking of. And then she claims I'm seeking attention by judging others. There is SO much that can be said in just that one sentence alone. 1. She isn't psychic, because if she truly was, she would know why I'm doing this. To these haters' surprise, I actually care about humanity and for them to know the truth of all that is. So if I see a fraud I will unwrap that for them so they know who not to trust. 2. She claims I'm judging others despite that everything I wrote about her in part 1, isn't my judgement but a look into her own words and website. I looked at it objectively because I do not know her personally, all I did was look what she wrote about herself and took on a psychological approach to it. So basically in her comment she judges me by claiming that I'm judging her. Spiritual? I think not. Something else I wish to say, which I don't know if it's a coincidence or not. But I find it interesting that after she sees my blog, I was told that a new video of hers came out about her tough journey in life. I usually don't think that anything is a coincidence and that everything happens for a reason. So, did she panic when she saw that I wrote the truth and then felt that she had to post something just so people pity her and get back on her side? Up to you to decide. Personally, Elizabeth isn't someone I think about on a daily basis, nor do I care much about her, for all I wanted to do with this was to open peoples eyes and make them start to have a more rational and questioning approach when they come across someone or something that gives them the warm fuzzy feeling within. I'm not saying that Elizabeth is the devil, but most people believe that evil is always ugly, when the opposite is true. The devil is a handsome man wearing a pricey business suit and has such charm and seductiveness to him, while the saint or angel can come across as a beggar with torn dirty clothes. The true test for humanity is to see who is pure of heart that would let the dirty beggar into their life.. but sadly everyone goes for the rich seductive charmer because they are grossed out by the beggar. My final thoughts? Don't be sacred of the truth. If you find yourself reading something that suddenly makes you react in anger, stop yourself and ask why you feel that way. It may be your intuition telling you that what you're reading is correct while your ego is angry for having faced the truth. Question everything, no matter how good or bad it is. Read from other sources, check the true definition of the words you use, so that you aren't throwing them out stupidly. Use common sense, rational thought and your intuition. Eventually you'll start to see past the illusion. If you by any chance find yourself feeling shame for being a long time follower of a fraud and you woke up from the trance, remember that you have nothing to feel ashamed about. It's better to wake up late than be asleep your entire life. Original CommentsThe following blog entry was written on October 10, 2020. I wanted to post it here along with the original comments from my old site, because I find it informative for people to see and learn how fake gurus and teachers deceive and manipulate them. Once you see past the glamour, fake wokeness and feel-good vibes, you'll see that most of these types of people are egotistical and only care about their money and business. CLICK HERE FOR PART 2 DISCLAIMER: Before we begin, I'd like to put out a disclaimer and say that I am not a professional psychologist. Having said that, I do have some skill in the psychology department by years of observations on human behaviour with the addition of my own intuition. Anyone can do this, you just need to shut up and observe people without adding your own judgement. You eventually start to understand why people are the way they are, why they make the decisions they do and so on. I never went to school for this, I did it on my own naturally as a child. I have only taken a psychology course in high school, in which we were asked "what makes us human" for 3 months. I struggled with culture shock, when I moved to Canada from Eastern Europe as a refugee during a war in my country, which resulted in me being more internal and quiet and constantly just observing people for many years, so you could say I've always had an interest in psychology but never desired to go to school for it as my initial love is art. It is incredible what you can learn and pick up on if you stop talking and just observe and listen. So let us begin... For those who don't know, Elizabeth April is a Youtuber that makes videos on topics like ascension, aliens, energy shifts and personal spiritual growth and power. If you have never heard the name, don't worry cause I never did as well. I was told to check her out by some friends that delve into spiritual practices, in fact they seemed quite blown away and inspired by Elizabeth, which made me think she might be someone I might find intriguing and interesting. When I decided to check out one of her videos, something didn't sit well with me. It wasn't the information she was talking about, which I couldn't even grasp easily since she mostly fills her content with fillers, just to get that ad revenue, but it was her mechanics. The way she presented herself, her mannerisms, her whole vibe threw me off. I automatically didn't like her and I didn't know why. Everyone claims that she's such a positive person and I assume they believe this for two reasons: 1. because she smiles a lot and 2. because she talks about empowering yourself. Sadly, even a psychopath can do this (not saying she is one, but I just mean that these things can be done by anyone... even an actor). So a few days ago I decided to look into Elizabeth a bit more and I came across some interesting things. Things that made me understand why I didn't like her and things that sadly the spiritual community isn't picking up on. You may wonder how the spiritual community might not be able to pick up on something, don't they use their intuition? Well, some people are born with their intuition already turned on, and others develop it along the way. Your intuition is that voice within that makes you feel like you should/shouldn't do something or go somewhere, which can save your life and lead you on a better path. Your intuition is like a muscle, meaning that the more you listen to it and use it, the stronger it becomes. Sadly, not all people have a strong intuition, not even in the spiritual community. So what have I found about Elizabeth April? Well, I did find a forum on reddit about her, where people point out that her followers are like a cult, but I found a lot more on her website. So first off her website cover photo. She claims to be an international psychic, teacher and truth seeker. I don't have an issue with the "truth seeker" part, because it just describes her as a person, and many of us as well, for we all wish to know and seek out the truth. But for someone that is an "international psychic" not many people know of her, nor have I seen any evidence on her website that speaks about her traveling and offering her psychic services for people. So it seems like what she means by "international psychic" is that she has international fame for being a psychic - which she doesn't. The second and most dangerous thing she claims to be is a "teacher". The reason this is dangerous is because as far as I know, she has no professional background in teaching, which means that she teaches people material based on her own judgement and beliefs, which most people take as truth and legit. This can be dangerous because instead of people looking into her claims, they take her word as is, which can lead to many people believing lies and spreading false information. Next, when you scroll a bit lower, you see that she offers memberships. Meaning you have to pay in order to get information. Think about this for a minute, imagine having information on waking up the planet and changing things for the better and knowing that it has to be done as soon as possible. Do you really ask people to pay for that information, or would someone that knows how crucial it is for everyone to know it, be more forthcoming and give everyone the information they need in order to change the course of our lives and planet as a whole? Because of this, she comes off as a deceiver. She claims to have all this information and yet you pay in order to have it. And if you're wondering, how else can she make money if she doesn't offer memberships? well she has merch too. Now let's move on .. If you scroll just under that membership button, you're faced with Elizabeth's ego - her bread and butter. Here, in a big and bold font she brags about being only 28 years old and having 200K followers, 900 "5" star reviews, and 3.1 million Youtube views. This is a way she lets you know how "cool" she really is. Where else have you seen someone that is trying to wake up the world, post their age on the front page of their site followed by their success? From a psychological point of view, this is her trying to show you just how powerful and legit she is. But it comes across as bragging, arrogant and conceited. If you're so spiritual, why would Youtube views and 5 stars ratings mean anything to you? Would you not just care about giving people the information they need in order to better their lives? This is what breaks Elizabeth April's character completely. Just this blue strip of info she posted, lets you know that she isn't spiritual, she's egotistical. Scroll just under that and you'll find that not only does she sell merch, offers memberships, but she also asks for donations if she impacted your life in a positive way. I feel sorry for the misinformed people, who believe her lies and think they're on a better path, donate to her only to crash and burn later down the road. Next we head to her bio in the "My Story" tab at the top of the page. And here we find a gold mine of information. First, her cover photo is different now. Here she claims to be "human", "teacher" and "paradigm shifter".. WTF? It's interesting that she calls herself "human", because she tells other people that she's a hybrid. Now, for the word "paradigm" in the Cambridge dictionary it means "a set of theories that explain the way a particular subject is understood at a particular time" or "a very clear or typical example used as a model". So if you have a structured belief system, a standard model of living.. could we say that she is trying to shift that? Despite that it is a good thing to question our own beliefs and life in general and evolve and grow to be better than we were, not all change can be good, hence the need to question it. But are Elizabeth's followers even questioning what she is telling them, or are they taking it all in as is and believing a false narrative? In her bio, she claims to have talked to who she thought was God at the time of her childhood, had extrasensory abilities like clairvoyance and mediumship, was able to see ghosts, spirits, energies and auras and even felt other peoples thoughts and emotions. She even had a deep understanding of how vibrational frequencies affected her and other people. Now, for a child who has all this, I highly doubt she would've grown up the way she did, or that she'd act as if she's acting now. I know what it means to grow up with just one or two of these abilities and I can tell you that there is no way she'd be sunshine and rainbows. Most people that have at least one, especially more of these abilities as kids and into their teenage years, tend to act out, have depression and even be suicidal due to being misunderstood and feeling alone. And that is without having kids "make fun" of you. If these kids just made fun of her, then she had it easy cause some kids with these abilities get worse from their peers than just some laughter. It's interesting to me that she states that her peers used to think she was lying just to get attention, and that she still deals with that to this day. From a psychological point of view, this is her trying to make herself more legit to her viewers by acknowledging the questions and skepticism they may have of her. It's like telling people what you really are by saying people think you are these things, which in turn would make people think you aren't these things because why would you have told them or brought it up in the first place, right? She is aware that she wants attention, but she doesn't want you to think that she does and so she makes you pity her and be on her side. This is called reverse psychology. The image of her for her teen years section is very interesting and gives you an idea of how she grew up, just by that image alone. Take a look at it for a moment. Look at the house in the background as well as the brick work of her own house, this gives you an indication that she grew up in a wealthy neighbourhood. This isn't a girl that suffered through life, that barely had food in the fridge and a leaky roof, no no, she grew up having everything she needed. And I can tell you that in order to truly gain spirituality, one must walk through hell in order to obtain it. What most people fail to realize is that only the pure of heart can be spiritual people, and in order to gain true spirituality, life throws challenges and tests your way and they aren't the nice kind. It isn't just one incident like being beaten by your partner, or being bankrupt, no. These tests and challenges come in very trying and hard times of struggle and sometimes long trauma. It's those times when you're cornered in life, at your wits end and it keeps going. It's the kind of hell where everyone around you is succeeding and moving forward, where they only get a little scraped along their path, while you're facing dragons, fires, mountains, scorching heats and freezing colds. It's that kind of suffering that makes you end up with true spirituality and awakened gifts like psychic abilities, because it's not just what you go through, but HOW you react and manage through the suffering that proves you to be worthy of natures gifts.. I truly doubt that Elizabeth had such a struggle in life and if she truly was born with these gifts (which does happen), then she wouldn't care about her self image, views, subscribers or money.. for people born with such understanding and abilities would be a lot more humble and caring enough to reach out to the everyday person and allow people to contact her (which I'll get into in a bit) The part that amuses me about her teen years, she mentions how she had everything she needed, but something was still missing in her life. She mentions how she went through a past life regression (which wouldn't be the first thing that comes to mind when you feel like something is missing in your life in the present, why the hell would you think about going back to your past lives?) In her past life regression she finds out that she has been all these amazing and powerful people, like a monk, a healer, a philosopher and even an oracle (again making herself seem more legit to you, so that you listen to her "guidance"). And she even finds out some dark pasts where she had been persecuted and enslaved (making you pity her for her hard past experiences in previous lives). The part that amuses me is that she never states that she has done bad things in her previous lives. She has never been the one enslaving others, persecuting others, etc. It is impossible for us to not have any lives where we do wrong to others, because the spirit wants to experience both sides of the coin; being the persecutor and the persecuted, being the enslaved and the enslaver. But the fact that she doesn't state any negative lifetimes, means that she's trying to make you see her as either someone you pity or someone you see as special and either way wish to follow. She chooses the illusion you see by filtering out the negative and only showing you the positive. In the next section Elizabeth talks about her first alien abduction when she was 18 years old. What's interesting here is that she claims that up until her abduction, she never really considered the existence of aliens before that point, but how is that possible? She didn't grow up in the 40's where aliens and abductions were so rare that aliens weren't even part of the mainstream entertainment industry or society. But to grow up in the day and age where you have books, youtube videos, art, merch and the billion of movies constantly being made about different life forms, how can someone say that they never considered the possibility? Even a skeptic has thoughts about aliens when they are presented with their images, even if they may not believe that they exist. This is a psychological tactic to make you feel like she has no background or history in alien-related topics, so that she seems more legit when she claims that this just occurred out of nowhere and found herself having to deal with and process it. Cause if she was to say that she had always been fascinated with them and then suddenly got abducted, we'd all think that she was delusional or maybe had a dream due to her strong interest in the subject. She claims to have gained some new abilities and even had some reawakened ones, like psychic, clairvoyant, channeling abilities and even started astral traveling, lucid dreaming, reading minds and talking to inter-dimensional beings in her bedroom. If she was a movie character, she'd certainly be a Mary-Sue; a woman that can do all and is the most powerful, the most awesome and never does wrong; much like Captain Marvel. One must question, if she has all these extraordinary abilities, why isn't she using them for the good of the planet? Like tracking down missing people, working with law enforcement to know who the real killer is or something. I can't believe that someone who can read minds and is psychic, does nothing but has a Youtube channel and tells you things that you can find in books, other speakers or can make up yourself. In the present day part of her bio, Elizabeth claims to be a cosmic channeller, public speaker, spiritual influencer and a celebrated artist. As an artist myself, that has been on Deviantart (artist community) since 2006, and have been following other artists on social media and finding new ones in different ways, I have never in my life heard of Elizabeth April or have seen her art. How can someone claim to be celebrated if people haven't even heard of them? These adjectives she throws around makes it seem like she is more than she truly is. She isn't just a channeller, but a "cosmic" channneller, she isn't just an influencer, but a "spiritual" influencer, she isn't just an artist, but a "celebrated" artist. She tries to pump herself up on some pedestal, something that no true spiritual being would want to do, because materialism, popularity and fame is the opposite of spirituality. And the fact that she claims to loving life and living her best life, seems odd to me considering the topics she speaks of. Most public speakers in the alien community, tend to either depend on donations to live a basic life, are running from the government or have been killed. Elizabeth has no worry or fear for her life, which means that she isn't telling you anything alien or government related that the government would target her for. This tells me one of three things, she's either giving you false information, she isn't stating anything big or real that you probably can't figure out for yourself through other books and videos, or she's a government implant that was intended to give you a false narrative in order to make you blind from the truth. Personally I find it strange that her very first video is a teaser (I mean, who makes a teaser for their channel as their very first video, when you don't have a single view or subscriber yet?) and the video itself is 38 seconds long, with 5,000 views... how is that possible? Even if people went back to watch her older videos, why would that many people watch a 38 second clip of just a teaser? Makes no sense to me. Not to mention that the title of the video itself is written in the third person, as if someone else is presenting her, despite her being unknown at the time. In the "Media" section of her website I found something interesting, which also ties into her "Contact" section. When you go to her "Contact" page you'll notice that she doesn't meet or reply to people's e-mails because she's "too busy" making free content for you... unless you're the media or have speaking opportunities for her.
The confusing part of Elizabeth is that some pages of her website is written in first person and some in third-person view. The same goes for her Youtube channel. This throws me off because it doesn't come off as relatable. Having your content written in the third person makes you feel unreachable and on a higher platform. She also states that she has a university degree, double majoring in global political economy and communications studies (hence why she knows how to communicate the right words to her followers in order to manipulate them). My ThoughtsSo what are my thoughts on Elizabeth April? Personally, having observed her site I would say that she does seek attention and some form of popularity or fame. Whether she truly believes to be spiritual and has all these abilities or is knowingly deceiving people, I don't know.. but I do know that she isn't a spiritual person. Not only do I not see any evidence of struggle and spiritual growth, the honest want to help people or a sense of being humble. One thing I do notice in this day and age is the growth of people claiming to be spiritual only because they have the financial means to think they're spiritual. It's similar to the "gay for pay" ideology, where someone is straight but will be playing a gay character just for the money. The concept here is that because these people who have the means to provide the basic necessities for themselves, and can live comfortably, then they tend to go into this spiritual phase of living, thinking they're spiritual because they can buy crystals and can speak on topics that they read from books or invent themselves. But once you take away the money and comfortable living, you'd then see their true nature. Majority of these glamorous "spiritualists" tend to just seek and crave fame, wanting to be the #1 go-to person for their "abilities" or "expertise". But the fun fact that you'll find is that the real and honest people that are psychics, can intuitively read tarot cards, or have had communications with extraterrestrials or other entities, tend to be the outcasts of society that don't have a happy-go-lucky life. They're the ones that probably can't afford to have their own domain name, the ones having trouble paying bills, the ones that are humble and go out of their way to help those in need, not for the money but for bettering someones life. So in the future, before you jump on someones bandwagon and follow them blindly, do some research and look into them. You'd be surprised who people truly are under all the glitz and glam.
